These pictures were taken one September day in 2003 when I walked from home to Heysham Harbour and then into Morecambe.

Heysham Harbour -- The ship on the right is the IOM ferry

Although small compared to some, Heysham is quite a busy place

Looking across the harbour to the two Nuclear Power Stations. The one with the white top is Heysham 2 where I worked from 1985 - 2001

From the harbour I walked round Half Moon Bay and across the Heysham Barrows which is NT land

The Stone Jetty at Morecambe

Looking to the Stone Jetty from the Town Hall slipway

Boats on the beach. Sadly the one in the middle, the "Seven Sisters" used to belong to me many years ago. When I left the Merchant Navy around 1965 I brought her from Maryport and shrimped in her until I got married in 1969 when I went to the ICI at Heysham.
