With Edith at her brothers for the day I was left to my own devices. Unfortunately due to continuing problems I was only able to have a short walk on the promenade.

Work on the Midland Hotel has stopped for Christmas. The steelwork you can see just over the blue fence on the left is the new sun lounge.

When I came out of the cafe the boat had been moved to some inshore moorings probably for the festive period.
The Winter Gardens. Hopefully this will be the next major restoration project in the town.
