7th August 2008 -- Williamson Park
An afternnon visit to Williamson Park in Lancaster with our two eldest Granddaughters and Karena who made quite a splash.
Entering the park and it's the usual race to the fountain.
I had visions of one or more ending up in the lake but I needn't have worried........for now!!
Then there were six!!.....good grief.
While I was taking this the girls headed for the waterfall
It's a pumped system but still looks quite impressive.
So impressive that Karena on the left wanted a closer look and ended up in the pool up to her waist causing howls of laughter from the other two. Here she's trying to wet Renee with her pants. It's a good job it was a very warm and sunny day or that would have been the end of it. It didn't take too long for her to dry out.

Ediths bag seems to contain everything. Here it was a wipe for Renee who had laughed so much at Karena going in the pool that she split a cold sore she had on her lip.
Approaching the Butterfly House... the girls weren't interested in going in today, it was much to warm.
Definitely interested in the play area though

I wanted to get a picture of them by the Ashton Memorial. The last time they were all together here was just over 5 years ago when they were bridesmaids at our Son & Svetlana's wedding.
Changed a bit since then!!
After a visit to the cafe it was back to the play area.
Karena now having dried out does "Roly Polys" down the grass slopes.......then noticed the rabbit droppings on the grass!
Finally time to cool down before we leave.
