Visions of Cumbria

The purpose of this section is to show various pictures from Cumbria which do not normally appear on our walks pages. They may have been taken on a day out or maybe on the way to or back from one of our walks or sent in by one of our readers. Either way I hope that you will enjoy them.

5th April 2009

The pictures below were sent to me by Colin & Joan Ainsworth from a walk they did centered around the village of Winster. I have plotted the route on Memory Map and it is approximately 6.5 miles with 700feet of ascent.

Having left the car near the church they walked up to the village before taking a SE'ly path.
