Loch Creran Holiday: Day 1 -- 13th September 2003
We had left home fairly early in the morning and by the time we got to Loch Lomond we were ready for a break. We stopped off at Luss for a cuppa and something to eat before moving on to Inverary. From there we went to Oban for a quick visit before going to our chalet on the shore of Loch Creran near Barcaldine.

Luss is a beautiful spot but but reliant on the tourist industry
We then moved on to Inverary on the shore of Loch Fyne
The day was still a bit dull but showing signs of brightening
We had time to make the short detour to Oban one of my favourite spots
The day was brightening fast now leaving glorious views
I had to see the fishing boats and get a crab sandwich

One in, one out , Oban is quite a busy spot for shipping
Having left Oban we made our way to our destination on the shore of Loch Creran
It was a delightful spot , the chalet was nearly in the water at high tide
