Sadly it was soon time to return home after a relaxing and refreshing week amongst beautiful and dramatic scenery. Although it was out of our way I had decided to return via Glen Coe so that we could drive the full length of it. Once again I'm not sure what the various hills are so I won't make a fool of myself by guessing.

Looking across Loch Creran on the morning of our departure

And down the Loch. I believe that the mountains in the distance were on the Isle of Mull

The Chalet that we stayed in. The tide is out at the moment, when it's in it came up to the large boulders

The following pictures were taken as we passed through Glen Coe. As mentioned previously I cannot identify them particularly after 4 years.

All I can say is that views are breathtaking. I used to argue with a guy at work who was an ardent Munroist that Scotland couldn't compare with the Lake District. If your watching Richard B I hold my hand up. The sea lochs and the high mountains are simply magnificent.

Coming out of Glen Coe and on our way south to Loch Lomond

and back to the picture postcard village of Luss.

It's a beautiful place in a delightful setting but quite pricy

Ben Lomond across the Loch

After a bite to eat it was to the car and on our way home
