The pictures below were sent into me by Colin & Joan Ainsworth from a walk they did on the 25th August 2008. Their walk started in Clapham and took them along Thwaite Lane before turning off towards Robin Proctor's Scar and then to the Norber Erratics. From there they made their way to the Gaping Gill pothole where the Craven Pothole Club had a "winch-meet" on. From Gaping Gill they returned to Clapham via Trow Gill , Ingleborough Cave and the Thwaite Plantation.

After visiting the Norber Erratics they made there way to Gaping Gill
A typical Bank Holiday....Rain, rain. The Craven Pothole Club were running a "winch-meet" . Members of the public are lowered down into the chasm of Gapping Gill for nowt.......Mind you it's £10 to come back up!!!!.....Worth every penny!!!!
They made their way back to Clapham via Trow Gill
