The pictures below were sent in by Colin & Joan Ainsworth and come from a walk they did around Silverdale & Arnside last May. It makes me feel a little better as the warmer weather approaches. I used to love the winter walking but my joints, particularly the kness would not stand up to it nowadays.
The walk started at Silverdale and they took the field paths to The Row

A short walk along the road brought them to the promenade at Arnside.
