4th September 2009
I hadn't been feeling too good for the past few days. There's now a problem with my blood pressure and the initial medication left me feeling drained. After a few days on it I went back to the doctors and theu have given me something else which does seem better. Also the weather in this part of the country as been shocking. There seems to have been hardly a day pass without heavy rain or showers. Now when I was working and walking days were scarce this wouldn't bother me but now I can pick and chose and whilst I don't mind getting caught out in bad weather I will no longer set off in it. Anyway around noon we set off for a short drive around the Arnside & Silverdale area.
Sandylands promenade at Morecambe and the new sea defences seem to be doing there job.
