26th September 2009

I haven't been feeling too great for the last day or two so this morning it was only a short walk along a section of the Northern Reaches of the Lancaster Canal that as not been shown on the website before.

We left the car near to the M6/A65 Junction to walk the section from near Millness Hill to Duke's Bridge. Here we are just setting off and looking towards Farleton Fell

It was quite dull as we started the walk. There were plenty of reflections in the still waters but capturing them was difficult

This is where the canal is culverted to go under the A65. Our route is through the tunnel.

Some sunshine soon warms up the day
