A short run out to Grange this morning to drop off a parcel at a friends. This small duty performed we visited the wildfowlers pond Edith having come prepared with a new loaf of bread. When then stopped off at Levens on the way back for a short walk in Levens Park. I was most surprised on our return home to find that the small fall of snow we had overnight had disappeared along with most of the residual ice.
There was still a bit of snow lying a Grange
