A fine Sunday morning, but it's the day of the F1 European Grand Prix from Valencia and also the day England play Germany in the last 16 of the World Cup. With these events gaining priority we decided on this short walk at Arnside straight after breakfast. I haven't bothered recording it as a walk on the website but thought you might like to see the pictures. The walk was from Arnside to New Barns where we tried out the new cafe and then a return. It was a beautiful morning and the temperature was kept down by a lovely breeze blowing up the estuary. The pictures, unless necessary are uncaptioned, regular readers will know this stretch of Cumbrian coastline as well as us by now. The route follows a section of the Cumbria Coastal Way.
