Visions of Cumbria

The purpose of this section is to show various pictures from Cumbria which do not normally appear on our walks pages. They may have been taken on a day out or maybe on the way to or back from one of our walks or sent in by one of our readers. Either way I hope that you will enjoy them.

The pictures shown below were sent to me by Colin & Joan Ainsworth. They are from a walk they did on the 22nd February 2009 centred around the village of Grayrigg in SE Cumbria. Grayrigg is the home of Kapellan the Wainwright Shelter.

Grayrigg sits on the A685 which runs between Kendal and Tebay.
