The purpose of this section is to show various pictures from Cumbria which do not normally appear on our walks pages. They may have been taken on a day out or maybe on the way to or back from one of our walks or sent in by one of our readers. Either way I hope that you will enjoy them.

Always in view, the Power Stations at Heysham
The promenade gardens are a delight to walk along
Chapel Island and Arnside Knott
Eventually we arrived at the PromArt show.
A perfect day for it.
Arnside Knott
A big close-up of a group of walkers doing the Cross Bay walk.
Time for a break
This young lady had an interested group watching her create the floral heads from a willow branch using a drawknife.
We left the promenade to visit the Ornamental lake.
