The purpose of this section is to show various pictures from Cumbria which do not normally appear on our walks pages. They may have been taken on a day out or maybe on the way to or back from one of our walks or sent in by one of our readers. Either way I hope that you will enjoy them.

As we were walking back to the car at Elterwater from our walk I received a call from our son on the mobile phone. He was just about to set off from home on his motor-bike to do a job in Ambleside. We made arrangements to meet up with him at Waterhead for a brew and whilst we were waiting for him to arrive I managed to capture a few pictures.
