Eaves Wood CP - "Pepper Pot" - Arnside Knott - Heathwaite - Silverdale - Eaves Wood CP |
It was rather a grey start to the day and after heavy rain late last night and then a early morning frost I wasn't to sure where to go. When I was then "seconded" for the school pick up I decided on the quick journey to Eaves Wood for a short walk to the "Pepper Pot" and then to Arnside Knott. I was by myself today, Edith was visiting her brother.
A very muddy car park at Eaves Wood.
On my walk to the "Pepper Pot". The area is primarly Limestone so drains quite quickly. However the paths were very muddy in places.
What a difference a few months will make.
The Pepperpot built to commemorate the Golden Jubile of Queen Victoria
From the Pepperpot my route me towards Arnside Knott seen here
