After taking our Daughter home we had a little walk along the Stone Jetty. Still having the camera with me I thought that I would get a few pictures of the Midland Hotel for those who have an interest in this once fine building.
The hotel was purchased in 2003 by Urban Splash a company specialising in urban redevelopement and is due to reopen in the Spring of 2008

The top floor is an addition to the original building which I am told will include two bridal suites complete with hot-tubs.

The steelwork at ground level is for the new sun lounge, the old one having been pulled down
I had to sneak on site to get this but it shows the front of the building is progressing well to
And the two seahorses have now been renovated.
