This was a walk we did with our eldest Granddaughter Renee on the 12th April 2007 up Arnside Knott.
All ready for the off.
The path up Arnside Knott
What a poser!
Gaining height and the views start to appear. Grange over Sands across the estuary
A rescue operation was underfoot here. Renee had found a dry looking worm so Nan was asked to dampen it and put it in the grass
At the viewpoint just below the summit
Renee at the "Lovers Tree".
Renees' first attempt at photography
Getting near the summit and looking down on the railway viaduct
Snacktime, and Renee makes a new friend.
Getting good isn't she!
Summitting Arnside Knott.....I don't think she was that impressed
She was more interested in having the camera at this point
Descending to Redhills Wood
An helping hand from Nan on the steeper bits
Collecting fir cones along the way
A tiny scratch get an "over the top" reaction from Nan. Think I'm getting told off for saying "don't make her soft" or something like that.
Back to the car and the question "Now what Granddad?"
A short drive to Arnside answered the question
