The Midland Hotel is due to re-open in just over a weeks time. With the fencing being taken down, today was an opportunity to see how things are progressing.

We had noticed a day or two ago that the plywood fencing was being taken down on the seaward side
The hotel is due to re-open in just over a week
I have been told that they are working 24 x 7 to complete in time
To be it looks an optomistic target but I hope I'm wrong
Before we go around the other side a visit to the Stone Jetty cafe
The landward side looks even worse, but with all the machinery available maybe it's possible
From this angle it doesn't seem too bad
The other end awaits the topsoil and turf being laid.
