I was not up to any serious walking today. Each day my joints seem a little more stiffer and take longer to get moving. The Co-Codamol painkillers are less and less effective. The 11th February cannot come soon enough. Around 11am I decided that a short walk along the promenade to Happy Mount Park might help get the knees moving and these are the pictures from along the way.
The hovercraft and crew were doing a photoshoot. I believe some of the crew were doing a charity swim in the bay later.
Quite a low light and hazy day. Not good for pictures.
Arrival at Happy Mount Park
This area is where the Brass Bands play in the summer. The building behind is Morecambe Golf Club.

My favourite flower.....The sight of them hopefully means warmer weather to come.
This area used to house a minature village.
One of the locals....The wrong colour for some but still a joy to watch play.
