A short walk through Heysham Village and Chapel Woods onto the Barrows

Looking up Morecambe to the Eastern and Far Eastern Fells of the Lake District

Looking towards the village

St Peters Church

Entering Chapel Wood with the rich smell of wild garlic.

The wood although not very large is a delight to walk around following the many paths

The bluebells are out now

Red Campion

The top of the wood leads out onto Heysham Barrows with a view of the harbour and the two Nuclear Power Stations.

Across the bay to the Furness Peninsula

Back into the woods
