After a rather wet day we mangaed to get out for a short walk along the west end promenade onto the Stone Jetty in the afternoon as the sun was getting low in the sky.
We had left the car near the Battery and set off walking to the Jetty. Here we are about half along and looking back to the Battery.
The Stone Jetty is where we are headed.
The low sun relects in one of the windows of the Midland Hotel.
A look back as we make our way down the Jetty.

The sun is getting lower in the sky.

Shore birds are looking for food at the Jetty end.
As we walk back down the sun lights up the windows of the Midland.
Back at the Battery and the sun is hidden behind a bank of cloud......disappointment
We returned home via Half Moon Bay where there was some colour in the evening sky over the Harbour.
