Route: We left the car on the Birker Fell road just past Winds Gate and headed for Rough Crag initially
We were on our way to Wha House farm in Eskdale but as we couldn't take the cottage over until 3pm we had decided to do Green Crag on the way. We parked the car on the roadside just past Winds Gate on the Birker Fell road and made for Rough Crag which can be seen over the car.
On the way to Rough Crag and looking back to the road with Hesk Fell behind.
From Rough Crag area looking towards Devoke Water. From Rough Crag we just followed a track upwards to Great Worm Crag
