Helm Crag, Gibson Knott, Calf Crag and Steel Fell

Weather: A Fine and sunny day.
Route: We left the car at Grasmere and walked up Easedale Road to take the path up Helm Crag.

Together on Helm Crag summit. The last time we did the "Wainwrights" I did go to the top of the Howitzer but not today. From Helm Crag we followed the ridge along to Gibson in the company of a gentleman who took this photograph.
Together on Gibson Knott with Steel Fell behind and the snow topped summits of the Helvellyn range.
Our path lay along the ridge to Calf Crag.

The Helvellyn ridge from Steel Fell. From here we descended down Cotra Breast to pick up a minor road back to Grasmere.
