Caudale Moor and Hartsop Dodd

Weather: Fine and sunny.
Route: We left the car at the top of the Kirkstone Pass and walked across the road to take a path up along St.Raven's Edge.

We are now on St Raven's Edge and looking down to Windermere. The fell on the left is Wansfell.
The way ahead to Caudale Moor. The path follows the wall all the way.

The path from Hartsop Dodd drops down to Hartsop at times quite steeply.

Looking back up Hartsop Dodd from Hartsop. From Hartsop we made our way to the Brotherswater Inn for a cuppa and sandwich before we made our way back up the Kirkstone Pass on a good path to the right of the road.

The Kirkstone which gives the pass its name. From here it wasn't far to the car.
