We set off just after 8am hoping to be in Elterwater for 9:30 but a 2 mile tailback on the A591 due to roadworks put us back by 45 minutes. I was tempted to change plans and go to Troutbeck but we carried on to Elterwater.

From Huntingstile Crag we took a path that would take us to the top of the Red Bank road.
Seat Sandal, Stone Arthur, Great Rigg and Heron Pike.

From Red Bank we took the path up Loughrigg. Silver How from part way up.
