Once again a local walk but one we always enjoy. We left the car at Silverdale and walked across the fields to The Row and then into Eaves Wood. We didn't bother going to the "Pepper Pot" today instead we took a path up towards Middlebarrow Hill through some splendid limestone pavements to eventually emerge at the top end of the caravan park. Back on the usual path we descended to Arnside Tower farm before making our way up Arnside Knott on the path from the south end. We descended down Red Hills to the shore near The Shore Cafe (sorry Barry we didn't have time to stop) and followed the shore path to New Barns where we walked through the caravan park to take the cliff top path to Far Arnside. After walking across the fields to the caravan park we had a short walk along the road back to Silverdale.
We left the car at Silverdale and starting walking across the fields towards The Row and Eaves Wood. At this point it was still rather dull.

We exited the woods above the caravan park and walked down to get back on the path to Arnside Knott shown opposite.
