We were later away today as I was on the "school run" first thing. We had decided on an easy walk so that hopefully I can get out again soon. I'm finding that if I do more than I'm comfortable with I pay for it over the next few days. Anyway, enough of that , on with the walk.

Making friends at Witherslack Hall farm. This was the end of our "outward leg". From here we took a bridlway over what is known as Yewbarrow

Cottages at High Fell End where we took a path to the Latterbarrow Nature reseve.

Having left the nature reserve we had a short walk along the quiet road back to the car passing The Derby Arms which is currently under renovation.
