An absolutely fabulous days walking. I wasn't even sure where we were going as I drove up the A6 towards Levens Bridge. I had thought of Haystacks but that meant a longer drive which I wasn't keen on so it was left turn at Levens and off to Coniston. We started the walk with very little cloud but as the day progressed it did fill in a little but at no time did it threaten to rain.
A fairly quiet Coniston around 10am
