A doctors appointment in the morning was followed by a short appointment in Kendal. By myself as Edith was at her brothers this left me a few hours free in the afternoon so where better than the 5 minute drive from Kendal to the top of the Underbarrow road for a walk along the scars. Regular readers will know that this is one of my regular walks for which I make no apologies for repeating.
